Printing Instructions

Once you have downloaded the PDF files, simply print the pages on US Letter-sized (8.5 x 11 inches) paper and they’ll be ready to use. You can also print them on A4 paper, but you’ll need to adjust the “Scale to Fit” setting to ensure that none of the printable area is being cut off.

How to Make These Worksheets Reusable

To make these tracing sheets reusable, laminate the pages using athermal laminatororself-laminating sheets. If you don’t have a laminator, you can also place the pages insideplasticpage protectorsordry erase pockets.

Doing this will allow you to wipe the paint off theprintable pageswhen your child is done with them, and save them for future use. Just make sure you usewashable paint(not acrylic paint) for aneasy cleanup!

To do this activity, print out the pagesand let your child paint each of thetiny dotsusing anypaint colorthey choose. (Our kids love to get creative and use many different colors!)

If you are doing this activity withyounger kids, you may notice that instead of painting each dot individually, they prefer to paint along the dots or inside the image. This is totally fine.

If your child is feeling creative and wants to try something a little different, they can also paint the dots using their fingers, or cover them with small dot stickers or tiny pom-poms. There are lots of fun ways to use this printable, so don’t feel that you have to limit yourself to Q-tips!
